I haven't posted on here in a bit, kind of been antisocial I guess. I have been seeing my psych monthly and have been going to a new counselor weekly. I am still battling depression and just want to get better. I feel like such a burden to everyone I just don't know what to do really. I feel like giving up.

Trust me when I say that you are NOT a burden. You deserve to helped and supported. It is commendable that you are looking for support. In time I know that things will get better for you.

Hang in there. I am dealing with similar issues and I am just doing what I can between visits. Sadly I have to wait weeks for each visit just to find out what the psychologist thinks I may or not have/be. But until then why worry? I can walk, play with my cats and find other distractions.

Hang in there! Feel the same way sometimes. But we are no one's burden, we are human beings with different issues than other people, that's all my friend. Plus, no one is perfect! please, keep the faith in yourself and in your treatment! Now I'm thinking of scheduling and appointment to get back to therapy, it really helped me put things in perspective

Thanks for the kind words all of you. I'm just having a really hard time right now. Even going a week without seeing my counselor is hard. Last week I wasn't able to do it. I had to contact her, I'm trying to make it through this week without bothering her. I just don't know if I can do it. I'm so tired of this.

I saw my psych today and she is putting me on lithium, to be honest I am a bit scared of this med. Is anyone else on it that has good experience with it that could put my mind at ease?
