Well here I am posting from my bed, got my kids off to school and all I could think about was jumping back in bed, guess no work for me today thankfully I have a flexible schedule so hopefully by Monday I can get myself into the office! Something has to give, all I want to do is sleep! I am wasting my life away feeling defeated today.

Hi Deanna, sounds like things are really hard for you right now. So quite an achievement in managing to get your kids off to school!! Maybe exhausting in itself considering the way you're feeling, at least you know you managed that though. Sometimes you need the rest/the respite though, you can only do so much, so don't fault yourself on that.
But are you seeing a doctor about the way you've been feeling? It sounds like you're handling a lot, and maybe a bit more support would be helpful?
But of course we're here too if you want to share a bit more of what you're going through.
So hang with us and "fingers crossed" for Monday.
WELCOME TO PC!!

That is how I feel! (Also in my bed missing class!) are you medicated, if you don't mind me asking? I feel like my meds (sertraline) make me more sleepy and indifferent as I just go to bed more...

Greetings from someone posting from their bed as well. I hope Monday works out for you. I just want to sleep too but even that is getting difficult to achieve.

How long do these defeated episodes last? How often do they appear? Do you have enough "non-defeated" times to keep you progressing?

Please make yourself at home here.

Those days/episodes are so tough. I hope you're feeling a little better today? Hang in there! Maybe watch a comedy or something.
