Does anyone elses mood just change at nothing?

Today started off fairly ok I guess. And then my bf said something that just threw me and my head went off in a woe is me direction.i got stuck there for a bit and then somehow made my way back. And then he did something else to throw me. And now I'm stuck again. Wanting to just hurt myself to make it easier to deal with this crap.

I'm just gonna carry on drinking and see what happens.

I once had problems with emotional regulation...getting stable on meds helped but what really helped was dbt. learning what triggers emotions and how to direct them otherwise really made me more able to handle my emotions. take care.

My moods jump from one extreme to another in minutes....though those moods are all under the dark spectrum. One minute i can be engaged in an animated debate and the next i leave the room since the lonliness feeling suddenly comes out and is oppressive.

I hear you man. I don't know about you, but I find my partner isn't always such a help when I'm not doing so good.
He's usually the main person to suffer when I... loose the plot a little. I also find it a bit of a pain having to crawl back & say sorry especially when I don't... really feel like apologizing.
Do what you need to to get back, but try not to... harm yourself. & don't drink too* much, hangover is a right downer!

I know the feeling today I was calm and then for some stupid reason I got angry and started shouting and banging the doors and then 5 minutes later I feel sad. Lets just say its a rollercoaster of emotions and I'm pretty sure its not normal.

My mood got stuck on low and that's where it still is today. Doesn't help that I didn't sleep well either. I am so over all of this.

My mood got stuck on low a while back too. I would give anything to have a swing to even feeling just "okay."

Despair hit me unexpectedly this morning... right out of the blue, as they say. Why today? The weather's lovely, there's nothing bad happening in my life. Just, all of a sudden... WHAM... & I'm face down on the floor Want to do myself SO bad... can't...

It makes no sense does it? If there was some kind of reason I reckon it would be easier! Hang in there

Well Sunday afternoon my mood took a big nose dive. I have been doing great this last months on my new meds. I thought I had finally found the right set of meds that would work for me. All my family was here for Easter weekend and everything was great. Then all of a sudden Sunday afternoon, a big nose dive. I keep trying to think what could have possibly have triggered it but I can't really come up with anything. There are some issues I am dealing with but I had been dealing with them quite well this last month since I was feeling so good. It seems it just hit me totally out of the blue for no reason.

This seems to be going around. I took that big nose dive this morning for no apparent reason... Hope you start feeling better soon, Zinco...

I know how that feels. Compared to most days, yesterday I felt like a million bucks, for most of the day anyway. Then today I woke up a bit anxious and then I became irritable, shaky, and blue all at the same time. Why? Getting used to a new med I guess. Just as good an excuse as any I suppose.

It's so hard I know...got alot done Friday. Maybe it was too many errands in one day. I seriously haven't got that much done In one day in like two years! Then that night I fell flat on my face full of anxiety and fear. Depression then set in like a dark cloud. Why does this have to happen? Thursday was a good day. Wtf? I hope things get better for you. Hugs
