I felt pretty amazing for most of the day yesterday, even though it was Monday! Today, not so much. I swear it's like I take one step forward and two steps back sometimes. I was on Paxil for many years. I drank beer like a frat boy. Last November I found out this girl I worked with whom I felt very close to was going out with a guy who was the last guy on earth I ever thought she would go out with. It "shattered" me. You see, I didn't realize how much she meant to me. I'm still dealing with the pain. Since then, I quit drinking, left that job, tried to start a new one, changed meds twice, had to quit the new job because of my nerves, and now I'm sitting here unemployed trying to figure out where it all went wrong. I'm on day 14 of Pristiq after having weaned off Prozac. Sorry if this post is all disjointed or doesn't make sense, or belongs in another forum. I'm just trying to get it all out there once again, but frankly I'm tired of telling this story over and over and over and not getting any relief

Sorry you are feeling lousy, UndeadMage. If yesterday was great, here's hoping that tomorrow will be too!
Thanks for this!

Oh, I'm in a super mood now...NOT! I took my last trial dose of Pristiq today. I had the doctor call in the Rx to the pharmacy yesterday. Well, I went to pick it up only to find out it's $190 for a 30 day supply!! And I have insurance!! My psychiatrist knows I'm unemployed, what is he trying to do to me?!

I am running into the same issues and then the doctor wants me to come in to re-write another prescription which I will charged for as well.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but, it is up to you to find out the list of approved drugs your insurance will pay for then show that to your doctor. He seems to be skipping around trying different things anyway so you might as well help him out and narrow down the choices....
My doc did this and the pharmacy turned me onto a program the drug companies have. They all want their drugs out there and give discounts to get you started. Just another thought.
