Antidepressants have different effects for different people so make sure your your doctor does a good evaluation. I tried a few different antidepressants and im currently on wellbutrin. I was on Effexor but it put a lot of weight on me and made me very mushy. They do work though especially combined with therapy.

How many meds were you given?
Imho,when starting meds, it's better to start with ONE thing... otherwise you will not what is causing the side effects and what is actually helping. And you may overwhelm your body. good luck anyways.
