Hi guys! I have a quick personal question. How do you guys cope when you are in an awkward situation? I saw my dad today for the first time in over a year and I felt like some anxiety went up a bit, but it wasn't too bad. I'm going to be working for him and hopefully I don't continue to feel like I'm having some kind of Anxiety.. >< I even felt like crying too, but I sort of remained cal in a way.. Tomorrow I tart my first day working with him after I see my therapist.

Thanks.

I bet it does feel awkward for you..... I would wager that it feels pretty awkward for him too. It sounds like he has been a real butt-hole in the past, hopefully he is turning over a new leaf and you two could have a REAL father/daughter relationship.

Gods blessings to you

I just muddle through as best as I can. Any new job gives anxiety so I'm not surprised working with your dad after not seeing him in so long gives you anxiety. Just try to concentrate on what you supposed to be learning and you will be fine. I hope you both enjoy your relationship.
