So, my daughters (1 and 3) are with their dad and his new girlfriend today. I feel pretty crappy that they are with their "new family" on mother's day, but I know they are having fun. I think it is especially hard because I have been questioning my mothering abilities for a while now, and the issue of custody is looming. My depression tells me they will be better of with their father. My T tells me otherwise. I'm also concerned that my mental health issues will be used against me. Can anyone relate or inspire some confidence in me?

Hello, Birchtree. Perhaps you could speak with someone at NAMI Massachusetts (National Alliance on Mental Illness). I know they have a legal department. Someone there should be able to advise you or at least point you in the right direction.
