It seems that these days I'm just floating in limbo. I'm not really sad, but I'm not happy either. It's as if I'm numb, I feel nothing. The world is grey.

The Doc upped my meds a couple of weeks ago, but I'm not seeing any improvement.

It would be nice to know if there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. I've had bouts of depression before, but this time, the meds don't seem to help. I can't shrug this one off.

Any possibility the meds themselves are contributing to the numbness? Has the dosage gone a step beyond an optimum therapeutic level?

Hello bluegirl1,

All I call it 'robot mode' where you feel numb and are just going through the motions. I believe it is the way the brain copes with what ever trauma it is trying to deal with. Try not to worry about it. Hugs
