I am taking Friday off work rather than calling in sick tomorrow. This should be a win because I'm going from an unplanned day to a planned day, but I feel bad still. I guess my day today was so bad that I'm surprised I can even handle another day at work. Plus there is so much more to deal with tomorrow that just came up. I'm worried that I'll have another disaster like today where I get to work but can't stop feeling sad and crying.

I've got to keep trying to stay in the moment. I can't let myself suffer tomorrow's pain today. I'm on my way home today so I don't need to suffer past pain. I guess it all stems from shame. I feel less valuable than others because they seem to cope better and I am ashamed I can't just cope better. Feelings are very painful.

Well I'll just try my best and try to reward myself internally for still fighting. It feels so empty to fight in silence though.

And now I can't sleep because of the stress, so I'm screwed tomorrow at work.

My happiness has never been a priority. I am here to make money to keep my family safe and will just work on bearing the pain with grace.

Oddly enough, I've done the same thing... knew I needed some time to try and refresh, get my head straight (been feeling pretty tearful this week too) and I've booked off Friday as well.

Don't worry too much about work tomorrow, just let it flow.

I do not know what your "shame" is. And I am not prying. That is private between you and God.

Let me just say that we are ALL with blemishes. Some may be 'worse' than others (in human terms). But any blemish makes us unworthy of heaven (and again - we all have them). That is what Christ is about. Your blemish CAN be wiped clean. Can you accept forgiveness?

I understand that feelings of sadness and pain, akekaomen. Here's hoping things will turn around for you and that your day off is as enjoyable as you can make it.

Your okay, you're in the right place nothing to hurt you here, unless you provoke it to. Thats when I say use your ninja skills and zombie hunting skills.
it's okay for feeling blue, sad, and crying, normal emotions to feel but your Friday will be nice and relaxing. You get to do whatever you want kill zombies or hone up your zombie fighting skills.

I have been through all that at work too, so you have my empathy. I hope you get more support at work than I ever did. Sometimes you just have to put one foot in front of the other and go on. I think this battle we fight means we are extraordinarily strong because I do not think and "ordinary" person could bear up under the weight of it.
