I am wondering if you have sadness inside of you, would it at some point in your life completely goes away?
or it will always creeping back at some point?

Great question...I have sadness about the death of my father, but it is relatively dormant. He and I were very close ~ sadly, he died nearly 18 years ago. The sad feelings tend to creep back, briefly, and usually around father's day...but time has healed that wound for me. However, that is not to say that I am not sad about other things ~ and this sadness, mainly about my career and a decision to leave a job that I thoroughly enjoyed has been causing a lingering sadness that has nicely morphed into a depressive episode...such is life with this illness...

![]() Some sadnesses do go away completely. Some sadnesses never completely leave. Some sadnesses go dormant for a time, return as strong as ever, and then go back to sleep in a cycle.
