Hello & Welcome, Mahermq!
Sometimes the medications themselves can contribute to symptoms that make it difficult to function. How much have you and your doctor experimented with different medications and different dosages? It is possible a lower dose of the medications may be better, especially as you need your focus for your studies. Please make yourself at home here.

The stress of your last year of medical school may be bothering you, making it necessary to adjust your meds, too.
You've come this far fighting depression. I think you can manage a high-powered career like medicine if you are properly treated. |

Hello mahermq, welcome to Psych Central.
Your English is very good. Have you tried therapy? Medication can only do so much and therapy will help you to find other ways of coping with it. Keep sharing here, it helps! ![]()

Welcome mahermq
Medication with therapy is the best approach along with other methods like meditation for instance. You are not at all alone here.

the problem with them here they depends only on medication and in the first time i thought its good but after 2 years depending on medication alone is not effective so i observed that when i change my life style make me feel more comfort so i started my plan by my creation like that : first of all increase my self confidence in watch motivational videos and read self devlopment books and read success articles like that after it i feel more motivated to challenge my depression then the next step like i call it (recharge my self with positve charge to increase my focus and often it works good and this by go out side for hour talk to my friends in any thing specially while derpressed i have to push my self to do that and get some sleep and have fun and alot of things i do reaaly i discovered after that is there is away to get out of depression more than medication because sometimes after it i feel great and feel that i dont have any proplem and study very well my lectures sorry that wrote a lot but really i want to hear from you all more methodes and techniques to defeat this black dog thanks a lot again |
