This morning I could not get myself out of bed. I fed my corgi and took him outside that was it and back to bed.

By 1pm I finally got out of bed. I ate lunch and cooked dinner today. Went grocery shopping. Cleaned my room. Took a shower finally.

May not seem like much and it was 1pm but I got out of my mind and was able to get some stuff done today. Even though I was really depressed about going back to work next Monday more so terrified I suppose.

Small steps right?

I think that was getting a lot accomplished. I have been trying to go to the store to shop for days and have not been able to bring myself to do it and I am not depressed...just anxious..so you are doing better than I am...great job! keep up the good work!

It's good to hear that you had a "good" day. Pushing through activities sometimes is the best way for us to get through our feelings. I'm not doing that well but your post encouraged me so that's good.

Sometimes it is those little steps that propel us back to "reality"...I am still waiting for one of my little steps to take a firmer hold...but as those above have said, good job!
