I don't want to diminish at all the pain that Silver Queen is going through over the loss of her pet, and my heart goes out to her.

Just wanted to put something here so people don't think that something happened to me (I am already getting PMs!)

So, as Mark Twain said "The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated."

I am very saddened to hear about Silver Queen's pup however. I hope she is doing well, and I'm glad she is able to express her grief here in this environment.

Yes I'm sorry, I didn't think of that until much later, that people might think it was you, Dave. But then I thought that a) how would I know you were dead, if you had died, and b) that if you had somehow died and I knew of it before everybody else (impossible) I would've used your true name.

Maybe it would be best if I renamed my topic, but I don't know how to do that, does anyone know?

Silver Queen... I think only Doc John can rename a topic but I was hoping that wouldn't be necessary because I felt like it would be intruding on you grief to be edited. I think that seeing my thread will help anyone who might misunderstand initially... and in any case I think that very quickly everyone will have read one of the other and it will be a non-issue.

I really just want you to take care of yourself and your loss and not have to worry about these "technicalities". I know how hard it can be to lose a loved one. If it turns out that people are still upset or confused (and I really doubt that) then someone will ask doc john to edit the title.

Please don't worry about it. I hope you are coping well, do you have friends or family around to offer support? You always have our support and understanding of course.
