I have a therapist that I'm thinking of going to but I'm scared... I really want someone to talk to and care for me in person but I don't know what to say or how to express my feelings... I am such a closed off person so I don't know how to even approach her... I don't think I will be able to say what is really wrong with me because it might seem so stupid...

A good therapist should be able to help you sort through expressing feelings. Good Luck.

Hi Beanbag,

That post sounds like it came straight from me a while back - I was terrified and just didn't know what to say. I felt stupid.
What I found helped is I wrote it all down. Then I didn't need to worry about clamming up and freaking out because when the time came I just took in my notebook and every time she would read what I had written, then ask me questions if she wanted. I found it really helped because then I covered everything I wanted to.
Sending you hugs, J.
Thanks for this!

I found it was just better to be honest and truthful when i did have a therapist. If i was honest with my pdoc he'd probably have me committed to a state hospital for the rest of my life.
