Hi there.
I've just begun to reduce my citalopram, alternating 10/20mg. I don't think this is entirely related, but my mood has been noticeably changeable. Yesterday and day before I was on top of the world, mostly. In fact I was very active, as the day before. Today I am floored by minor altercation with partner. This derailment is a long term pattern, but I thought that I had d3veloped resilience, but no. When I'm tested the same reaction occurs. Snappy, nasty, teary, sorry for mysrlf. I am going to come off meds, but the mood swings are getting me down. When I'm doing something I like, fine, and can take on anything. Too happy? Dunno. ![]()

Some medications the period to wean yourself from them can be longer than others. The weaning of the body is one thing. Mentally depending on a certain mood is something that can take much longer.
As far as relationship squabbles go, that is a 2 way street and I try not to get lured in by the taunts of my partner, but that is not easy to do. |
