It feels nice to spontaneously feel SOMETHING, but I don't know why and I hate having to hide it if it happens in a public place, you know, where crying is typically frowned upon.

Totally understand. I cry all the time, even in public, and often have to hide myself somehow, be it taking off for an empty aisle in a store or something.

yeah, stopped using make-up for that reason. always tell people my eyes are red because of using the computer too long (which I do). sometimes hide in bathrooms. but when someone caught me crying they were always very nice. even if I don't think other people are judging me it still feels embarrassing.

Yeah... the bathroom is where I go when things get heavy at work. It's one of the few places I can go for some quiet and hear myself think... or break down in solitude.

I've lost my ability to "hold it in" until in an appropriate place. It sucks. I kind of feel like it's my brain being like, "Okay, you've kept it to yourself for long enough. Now do it where people can see you need help." Except of course crying in public doesn't really get you anything other than awkward stares.
