I am so tired of breathing, living, existing. I get out of bed every morning and function. Well I go to work and do what I have to do, because that's what is expected of me. I hurt so much inside. My Doc closed her practice and I can't get into see my new one until October. I had seen her for 5 years and she knew everything about me. I am so tired of feeling this way....

I feel this way sometimes, too. Did your doctor prepare you for the transition and ending, or was it just abrupt? Were you feeling this way before your doctor closed her practice?

One day or moment at a time, whatever it takes to get through. Maybe if you called your new pdoc and told them how bad it is for you right know they would see you sooner????

Hi Sj beam, I am so sorry you are feeling so bad. I have been where you are. Sometimes I feel like I just exist because I have to. I agree with detachedangst. Maybe you could call the new pdoc and see if they could see you sooner due to your feeling so bad. If push comes to shove is there a crisis line you could call? Best of love and wishes to you.

No, she just suddenly closed her practice. She did see me her last week in the office. The new PDoc is booked. I can call again, but he is having to take a lot of her patients. I have felt like this many times, it just feels like it gets worse each time it happens.

SJ if you call and they do absolutely nothing to help you i would find someone else. If you feel it is an emergency then your doc should too. Do you have a crisis line preprogrammed in your phone?

SJ, at this time I have no words of advice for you. Only that know you're not alone in feeling such. These feelings shall pass hopefully soon enough. Stay strong.
Thanks for this!
