I posted in here for a while and that didn't make me feel better, just more numb. So I figured the weather was getting warmer and I'd go outside, thinking the warm sun and fresh air would help. Well It didn't. I still feel like I have no energy and see no hope for the future. I hear the economy is bettering, but I don't see any of it. I would love to move, but it's too expensive and I don't know anyone anywhere. The fact that I can't just get over it makes me feel worse when it's just a funk and I don't suffer from crippling depression like I see.

Hi, HuxleysParadox. Are you looking for us to heal you? We can "listen," and support and offer advice, but I think your best bet would be also to see a professional, try different antidepressants, and maybe even do some therapy.

Many things can help with milder depression, but more serious depression, I think, needs more serious measures.

I am sorry that you aren't feeling any better. Please keep us posted. Okay?
Thanks for this!

Hello, HuxleysParadox. From prior posts I see you stopped therapy. I expect taking medication is not something you would consider. So, you are left to your own devices. What you have done and are now doing is not working.

What is the new plan?

I wish you well.
Thanks for this!

I don't know, honestly. I think I'm going to start Tai Chi in the mornings. I hear it does good things for chemical fluxes in the brain. I don't want anyone to worry, I am not suicidal. Where as I do often think I am worthless and don't do nearly what I could do.. ending it all isn't apart of the equation. And maybe.. if I see people depressed here,, if I post cheer up notes to them it might help me here.
