I don't really know what I expected when I joined PC. I thought it would be a good place to release my inner thoughts of my depression and it is. But I've come to the realization that I do know what's wrong with me, but I probably won't ever seek help for it because of far too many reasons. I guess I think this website deserves to be a place where people who DO want help come to, not people like me who are all talk and no action. I don't talk that much anyways, nor do I post that much here so I guess it's not that big of a loss. I do want to thank everyone who has helped me out by replying to my posts. I probably won't be on anymore, maybe once in a blue moon to read some postings though. The end of PC for me

Hey Anony, I think you're being too hard on yourself... I think it is possible for many people to change for the better.... to be more healthy, fulfillled, functional etc. without therapy (or without years of therapy) although it would usually be a lot slower.... although some therapists do make matters worse they are in the minority. I respect your decision, and if you ever change your mind, we will be here for you....

Take care,
Fuzzy

Hi Anony,
Just writing/talking about it IS taking action. Hope that you're alright and I hope you post if and when you need to.
We'll be here. Take care.

I hope you stay, I don't like labelling people as "all talk and no action" and I agree with what Jacq said. btw I often feel like leaving here for many reasons..... in fact I think a lot of people do. Sometimes taking a break and then coming back is the best thing for self care.....the good thing is that PC doors are always open and that people here are accepting and supportive.... but also gently challenge sometimes in some cases The end of PC for me
(much like a good therapist in fact? The end of PC for me)

(sorry for the PS, hope it helps in some small way, your posts have helped me!)

((((((((Anony))))))))))

I'd really like it if you stayed put. Sometimes its hard to take "action" as you put it, but you ARE doing it. Talking about it if it helps you is a good thing.

Of course it is for you! The end of PC for me

We all have times of talk without action. Talking it out here is a good way to sort things through, try out new ideas, get reassurance, see how other people got through similar experiences.

Perhaps our "all talk" is the rain before the rainbow, anony!
