HELP!!

Hello everyone! I'm new here.

I am losing my home in less than 30 days! I have no money, no car to sleep in and no place to go. I am physically disabled, have a Service Dog (and 1 Therapy Cat) and may be Terminal. I have no family or relatives and due to being in the hospital so much I have not been able to make any friends. I have never felt more alone or more depressed and scared in all my life as i do right now!

I don't know where to turn, who to call, or what to do...

No energy to move.

No reason to live. (But not wanting to die).

No will to survive.

No reason to try.

No Hope!

WWYD?

(What Would YOU Do?)
Hugs from:

Welcome to the Community, MoonbeamZ.

Call the Department of Health in you your state to find out if you qualify for any assistance.

Call NAMI to see if there are programs you qualify for: NAMI: National Alliance on Mental Illness - Mental Health Support, Education and Advocacy

Call your general practitioner to see if he/she knows of any assistance or support for you.

Look in the Yellow pages for support groups that might be able to to help you.

Locate any homeless shelters you might utilize.

Write (or call) your congressional delegation to find out if they of any help for you.

I know this is not not much but it is a start.

I wish you well.
Thanks for this!

Did not vote. Glok had some good suggestions. Also you could ask at the police station.

To add to Glok's list: Call 2-1-1 (United Way / AIRS)

Well I voted for meds and therapy. But you need more immediate help than that. If you have no insurance apply for medicaid. Reach out to whatever resources may be available in your community. Catholic Charities. Salvation Army. homeless shelters, food kitchens. HUDD. All that can be very overwhelming and frustrating. But take one small step at a time starting with your most immediate needs. There is help out there but it takes some foot work and being a greasy wheel.

Having no idea of your state, city / county --- here is your best bet for the most immediate assistance, directions for where else to contact, and counseling for your situation in most any area in the U.S.
Start with calling ASAP/making an appointment with the Catholic Social Services in your locale. Good luck.
