I'd like to hear input from people who have successfully used Fetzima for a month or more. Currently I'm at 80mg Fetzima + 450mg Wellbutrin, and mentally/emotionally that is working well. Physically: I sweat constantly!

Has anyone had the sweating or feeling overheated side effect? Did it ever go away or lessen with longer use? I like how the medication is working, but it isn't going to work if I'm constantly drenched in sweat. Only at about a week so far for 80mg, but I'm willing to wait it out if there's a possibility the side effects may lessen.

I was recently on Fetzima 80mg as well, and now that you mention the sweating I did when I'd wake up...I'm glad to hear that cocktail is working for you! I was so aggressive and angry on it though! And I can only take 100mg of Wellbutrin SR when I take it, because I get to angry on it also. Best of luck, maybe ask your pharmacist??

I have had very good luck on Fetzima at 40mg. Yes at first I had overheating. It can be a side effect because I believe serotonin regulates body temp. It went away quickly for me. I recently went to 60mg and have had the same thing. Worse in the early evening. It seems to be going away again though.

It happened to me pretty bad for quite some time on another med but I can't remember which. I think it was also and SSNRI. it did got away though.

Thank you, I appreciate your input! One of the most frustrating things about the newer meds is that there isn't all that much feedback out there, because it's new...

Just in the past couple of days it seems like maybe the sweating is lessening - I really hope so.

Thanks for sharing your experience - it looks like the increase in anger can be pretty common. I'm glad that didn't happen to me!
