Am I depressed. I have loss some interest in things I use to enjoy even sex and I feel somewhat cutoff from my emotions. Is this a form of depression?

Hi under quizzes there is a depression quiz you can take gives you results you can take to your family dr You can discuss this with the dr who can decide if these feelings/ symptoms are something serious. All the best

That is only one symptom of depression. There is a depression quiz on this forum you can take. Are there recent changes in your life? Any recent losses? Have you been put on any new medications? There are lots of things that can influence these feelings. I agree with Forever hopeful's post. Wish you the best.

It doesn't sound like enough symptoms to be considered clinical depression. Keep an eye out for other symptoms. Could be just a phase that will pass or if there has been any changes or loss in your life as waterknob says.

Also do you have any history yourself or family history of depression???

We'll, now am starting to have moments of depression . I don't feel happy and I sleep a lot. I just don't feel like myself and I don't care about things anymore.
