Everyone holds my past against me. This and that. I messed up again today. I was only up for a few hours yet I managed to mess up very badly. It seems like an everyday occurrence where my past failures are brought up and I am reminded of the filth that I am. I am reminded of how dumb I am. How much of a failure I am.

...

I can't seem to do anything right and I can't seem to concentrate at all and I am constantly zoning out and everything is cloudy. Though I always seem to regain this strangling feeling in my chest.

I messed up again. I always mess up. I can't go out anymore. I can't talk to anyone about it because others are deemed more important than me. Not worth talking to.

I've gone through this but now I'm in a position where nobody dares to blame me for my past.. What matters is; what you think of yourself. Don't underestimate yourself because they do. Confront them that didn't they ever committed a mistake in their life? Stand up for yourself and your life. You'll see the difference by yourself.

I can't go out or do anything either. I feel very uncomfortable around people who are superior to me. The bitterness makes me want to break down in tears.
Thanks for this!

I can definitely relate to how you're feeling. However, it is usually me who beats me up over my past. As someone said above, we all make mistakes. I'm sorry that you are going through this. Perhaps ask them why they feel the need to bring it up? If you haven't already, that is.

I hope everything works out.

I don't think very highly of myself. Not like I have anything I can think highly of about myself. No good qualities or skills and I fumble a lot.

Everything eventually works its way out. Though just because it worked out doesn't mean it worked out *desirably.*

They bring it up because I failed again and that reminds them of my past failures because I always fail.
