I saw my pdoc this morning and he discussed anhedonia with me. I was upfront and honest. I don't feel sad so much as feeling completely unmotivated. And this leads to moderate depression.
It's like i just don't want anything. When i'd get very depressed in the past I was still interested in sex, football, movies, going for walks. But I'm not interested even in those things. I've been trying to create meaning in my life since getting out of partial hospitalization August 1 but it only backfired on me. And now I'm practicing mindfulness based cognitive therapy. Will it help? I'm just not interested!

I'm not sure if it will help, I know I have lost interest in lots of things that I used to be very into. One thing that has helped me is finding new things to be interested in, but that isn't always easy.
