I have to go home soon and I dread it. I feel so lonely in the evenings. My house seems so small and lost. I miss my kids--one is in UK right now and one in California. I don't have a partner; but before I became depressed this time I was happy without one. I have several friends but sometimes it's really hard for me to reach out to them. I'm worried about my job; I'm supposed to be building a clientele (I'm not the one who does the marketing) but so far there's very little. I'm just scared, so scared.

Hey there. I don't have a ton of answers, but wanted you to know you're not alone. I struggle more at night as well - it's when I'm alone at home and sometimes stuck in my head. Do you have colleagues or friends you could do something with? Even if it's just a distraction and delay for going home.

Hello. I understand you. I feel the same at night, actually, depression seems worse at night. But you must try to talk with your friends, or try to remember someone that you love. Be strong.

Hi Brintel. Welcome to the community. I am so sorry you are hurting. One of my adult children lives 5 hours away and I miss him. I understand it is hard to be alone. I think our worries come alive more at night when there is no one else around. Love and hugs to you.

Something I can relate too. I dread going home every single day. May your loneliness ease. ((((((Brintel))))) |

May be you can write to your children.
Develop a hobby, do something that is relaxing. |

Thank you. It's really hard for me to concentrate right now so I have a hard time with hobbies (except watching movies) but I will keep trying.
