My "depression" usually dominates my anxiety. Therefore lately instead of three attacks a week I have several each day.

Question: lately by each attack I take klonopin given to me by a friend.

I just want opinions on taking medication that wasn't prescribed by a 'professional'.

Thanks

Taking several klonopin each day wouldn't be advisable even if they had been prescribed to you by a professional.

My personal opinion about the drug, and it is prescribed to me, is that it's far better as an occasional psychological band-aid, than taken very regularly, because from what I understand a dependency can become quite difficult to deal with -- and could further complicate your anxiety/depression in the process. Suggest you arrange to see a 'professional' doctor when you can about a more practical solution!
