Why is it so hard for me to care about anything? I hate everything and I'm always bored yet I still don't care about anything. It's because everything I care about takes effort which seems impossible to do. Am I just too lazy? I tried going to the gym today but I had nothing. I started doing it and stopped after 5 minutes. I just have nothing left in me.

Hi lonewolf59, depression usually causes apathy. Are you in therapy? That would be a good place to start, and if need be maybe they can refer you to a psychiatrist who can start you on an anti depressant.

-Take care,

Yes, I've been in therapy for two years now, been on 6 different medications, none have helped, I really am just sick of this waiting bulls*** I just want to get better already. I've reached out to my parents and therapist many times, I'm just done with this. I can't get past this mental barrier. I just really don't know what the hell I'm doing or what's really going on with me.
