Sorry just have to vent. Found out today when I tried to fill a prescription that my insurance company will no longer cover Latuda. So I had to call my doctor and figure out what to do. So we are going to try going without and hopefully this won't derail the progress I was seeing this last week. Ugh.

Insurance companies are getting worse all the time. Mine won't seem to help with seeing a psychiatrist or a therapist. Hope things go okay for you. Best wishes.

So sorry...sometimes your md can try to appeal or do prior auth, assuming they tried this...but if not, sometimes just have to document othet similar meds you did try, dates, not worke d side effects, etc then can get it approved
Good luck

Health insurance companies are white-collar criminals.

That's pretty crappy. You can't even taper off the med that way.

Last month, my antidepressant was nothing and this month it's $84. Nope. My doctor gave me samples to last me 8 weeks and said she will keep giving them to me since my insurance isn't paying anymore. I just don't understand why they paid the first month but not the second.
