Hi,
So when I was in seeing a CPN a couple of weeks ago he asked how my happiness was on a scale of 1-10, and I answered saying generally a 6 but as high as 8 and low as 3-4... However, I think this is somewhat arbitrary because it is very subjective. Does anyone know of any good online guidance as to a scale like this for psychiatry? As in, examples of how one would feel & their outlook at each point on the scale. Thanks!

The 1-10 scales are very arbitrary. I don't know of any online assessment, but you might look into the Beck's Depression Inventory. Hope that helps.

I watched a documentary that was pretty good. I think this was it.
HAPPY | The Happy Movie I haven't watched this but you can watch it for free. Episode three is on happiness. Psychology actually does study it. About the Series | This Emotional Life

I like the happiness scale about as much as I like the ER pain scale.
I make an exception for the hyperbole and a half pain scale. Link provided Hyperbole and a Half: Boyfriend Doesn't Have Ebola. Probably. |
