they are the ones that get you to the big ones. If you don't realize how far you've gone even it's just a milliseconds worth of step, you might feel consistently defeated when you haven't actually been. Then you'll feel like giving up, coiling up in a ball, etc.

I've had issues with getting to work and leaving the house in general. Months ago I was calling out days at a time and would maybe make it to work 2 times a week, sometimes only one, sometimes not at all. I was crying constantly, felt abandoned by a friend, etc.

Lately I've been calling out maybe once a week. To a normal person that may seem like a ridiculous thing to call positive. But come on, it's an improvement. I haven't been crying as much. I still feel like there is nothing. Why am I here, what's the point, etc. But at least I'm moving to a greater degree.

Oh and somehow I still have a job. I'm grateful to have an understanding and tolerant team leader, and Union representation. Not to mention fmla.

Now I just need to quit skipping out on therapy appointments.

Keep on going fellow pc members.

I find milestones far more helpful than targets. It is the journey that is important, not when we arrive. Taking that first step is always the hardest and most important. Thank you for reminding me.

It is good to look at milestones and see improvement. I am happy that you are doing better.

Yeah I had to remind myself today in fact. I was feeling off, like I wasn't getting anywhere, then it hit me. Oh wait, yes I am.
