I've played video games for years, I've gone this whole year without touch one. I use to watch every movie that got released in the states including indies but now it takes me days to finish one movie or even remeber what I'm watching or care.

Reddit, keeps me interested because it's so much information at once.

I have no friends, I don't work, I go days without seeing people.

I try to make an online profile to make friends and no one wants to be my friend.

The world was so much smaller when I was a kid, now, I'm not living..just occupying space.

my t would ask you "so what are you going to do to change it?"

I work, but otherwise I am just occupying space as well. but I am content with doing nothing, my life has been hell up until now. now that I am stable, I am just kicking back, and trying to recover.

That's serious; classic anhedonia.

That, too, is familiar.

When is or was your brain scan? When will you know the result?

I'm sorry things are this way. I can relate. If I thought it would accomplish anything I'd probably make a similar post with the details being the only real difference.
I hope things get better for you. One suggestion would be to try new interests.

This is how I feel exactly. But in my case it was tv shows instead of movies. I was and avid reader as well. Now I have to muster all my strength to get through it and I just can't focus. The world could collapse around me and I couldn't care less.

Maybe your tastes have changed, my friend? I used to love fighting games as a kid, but not anymore, I prefer survival horror and stealth games, you could give something else a try. Same goes with movies, maye you're tired of watching mainstream movies, and it's time to branch out and find experimental/surreal movies that aren't as popular.

As for me, I still love videogames, but haven't played one in a month, because I'm busy all the time, and I don't like going on-and-off with single player campaigns.

I know what you mean about being a kid, life was much simpler, I wasn't so cynical or depressed.

I go days or weeks without seeing people too, but I've gotten used to it for some reason, but maybe you could find friends you could talk to on the phone.

As for your profile, an empty profile means nothing on the internet, make sure you write an interesting 'about me' and share your interests with the world (or just the website), no matter how obscure they may be.
