I suffer from depression. I wake daily feeling like I'm stuck in a pit and can't get out. I feel hopeless, unmotivated, and sad daily. I started a blog to try to vent randaperry.wordpress.com and I'm on twitter meeting others like me. It's hard being in this funk because it feels like it's not going to end. I'm currently on abilify, tegretol, and paxil. I am considering asking doc to change me to wellbutrin since I have been told it works good. I hope to meet others experiencing my depression.

Hello! I looked into your blog, and I'm concerned about the return of the voices. Does your doctor know about this?

Hi militarywyf!

I really like your smiling avatar. I think it's a good sign for you.

I was just a fairly severe, but garden variety depressive myself. SSRIs didn't really help, but I eventually got the entire thing to dissolve doing this:

I also always feel obliged to point out that there are lots of purely medical issues that are worth checking for. There is a PARTIAL list in post #45 of the above thread. I think a lot of the other posts in "depression success stories" are also very interesting.
