AAAARGH help pls! I support! I usually get kinda imersed to movies and stuff but this is insane. IN the series I follow the season just ended with a character commiting suicide.. I can't help but getting triggered by this! I usually get slightly triggered by any suicide in narrative...one of few things I dont joke about. But this was brutal...and it's affecting me...

The only person I suusalyl share thoughts and feeligns with is unconctable for 2 days or more. I just need some emotional support from all the sweet souls here..

Hi Momentofclarity, I'm really sorry you're struggling and I know that things like that can feel so real, so close, so personal, it can make it feel like "your own reality"
But you know there can be ways to cope with, to "let go" of the feelings that's stirred for you.
So what do you think.............?? Maybe check out that actor/actress in other things (on youtube??) to free yourself of that image of them a bit?? Maybe remind, remind, remind yourself that it was a character and every chance it wasn't even based on anyone IRL??
And if seeing that "reality" doesn't help right now, maybe remind yourself that that was what happened to them, that's where your thoughts are taking you, but it's not you and you have a chance to make things work out different, SO differently. I don't know whether you may need professional help with that or not???? But you have the chance!!!!!
But some other things you might want to try..........some distraction..........doing some activity you might be able to enjoy or that will absorb your attention............watching something a bit more "upbeat".............or even talking to someone "socially"?????
I do know it can be hard, but hang on in there, and we're here for you if you want to share those/any thoughts/feelings. We care, and you really do matter.

Alison
Thanks for this!

That was a really good idea. Unforunately it seams like most videos of her was either a tribute to her looks I think... (which I kinda find perverted lol) or it was from that show.... oh well..she did cast in one of the saw movies too.....didn't check her up on that though.

Better... the image and the idea still haunts me.... especially when I happen to combine that picture and my friend who is not at psychward due to suicidal thoughts... Worst idea is probably that it was because of the main character that other character commited suicide... even if he was trying his best to make everyone happy. What if that was me?! :S

Just my head messing things up...needed to vent..am doing better I promise.
