Hi I been having mixed feelings , example one week I am sad and depressed. And one week i am happy. I feel hopeless ,I feel that I do not fit in with people and that no ones likes me. I do not feel like eating but I eat anyways. I feel tired and wake up sometimes durning the night. Sometimes I just want to snap because some people just gets on my nerves.

Hi detour1! I'm no doctor, but if you're really concerned, you should go see a professional and get their opinion. they can help you work out what kind of treatments you need! best of luck!

An up and down roller coaster of emotion (happy, then sad, then happy, etc.) might be more indicative of bipolar disorder, rather than just depression. But it would be impossible for anyone to tell on a message board, I think. I think it would be helpful if you could speak to a professional and get a formal diagnosis. Heck, you might find that you don't have anything at all. It can be very normal for our emotions to jump around like that. It could even be something temporary in your environment causing it.

I agree that consulting a doctor would be your best course of action. You do sound like you are having trouble with you mood level. It could be depression or it could be stress related. It could have many causes. Set up an appointment with your doctor soon.
