I understand the feelings of feeling like ****, like nobody cares, and like your worthless. "Nobody really likes me for who I am, I mean how could they? I'm a big negative panzy!"
Its a tough road, this I am just starting to learn. I have a lot of work ahead of me in hopes that one day I can look at myself in the mirror and like who I see. I hope one day that I can realize that its truly not everyone else that matters but the only ones who matter are those who truly believe in and try to help me and myself. As far as anyone else who may judge or say your wrong and just being a cry baby, hopefully one day we will all realize their opinions don't matter. |

![]() And we want to know, it matters to us how you're feeling/you matter!!! ![]() I/we know that the old "fake it till you make it" doesn't always work, and sometimes you just need to/have to let it out/acknowledge how things really are. Doesn't make you a failure at all, and it doesn't make you stupid. So let's not worry too much about the mask, if it's hard, hey?? ![]() Let's aim for some real coping skills, and if it takes time............if you need support, if you just need to say how bad it is and have people understand and be there for you........then we're here as ever for you Fuzzy. ![]() Alison |

Fuzzy, you have our support and we are glad to listen. As far as people out in the real world, I agree they don't want to slow down and listen to our woes. I think it scares them because they don't know how to face the fact that they can't do anything to help. At least, I like to give them the benefit of a doubt.
I really wish the doctor's could help you feel better. There is always hope. I know I had given up when I started to get better. Please don't give up.

Hi fuzzy. You can always talk to us and be yourself here. You are a wonderful person and we love you whether you are feeling good or bad. I find myself putting on the "everything's okay" mask too, especially at work, even though I want to scream and cry inside. Love and hugs to you.

You can wish hope for better but if u just be passive like that and not take steps, actions to help self, to change, then things are unlikely to improve. You can have goals, ideas, dreams but they wont be realised without positive concrete beneficial actions. Depression can be a long painful isolating struggle.
