I am so tired of living around a bunch of trash pigs. Looking down my block-I live in a rowhome-in the back alleyway from the second story window, almost every other house has all this trash piled up in the yards. It's really disgusting. My yard is the only one with planters and bright colored decorations and bird feeders. Am I an idiot? God darn those real estate investment people!!!!!!!!! They've screwed everything up with real estate prices!!!!
Everything that's in a half way descent neighborhood is way too expensive for me to afford.
I hate living in this damn poor neighborhood-it sucks!!! It really sucks!!!!!! I HATE IT HERE!!!!!!!!! I'm seriously thinking of giving up my dogs and just getting a small efficiency in a nice neighborhood when this lease is up. I don't see many other options. With the dogs I need at least a two bedroom, it's harder to find a place and it's going to be more expensive with the pet deposit fee and possibly an extra charge per month with the rent.
But what am I going to do without my puppies? I love them soooo much. grumble
I just want to get away from all this trash and be surrounded by window boxes, shrubs and trees, bird feeders, good neighbors who are well mannered and don't curse all day.
Is that asking for too much?

WOW I guess you're there for a bit yet, and I bet there are some appreciative women who give their children a tongue lashing for the junk and why can't she have a nice yard like the lady down the street? (((((hugs)))) Sounds like you have created a bright spot for yourself and others.

I hope things begin to work out for you soon.

I'm feeling better today. This morning, I was working for someone who lives in a nice area in town and I looked out her back window and saw the back yards in her alleyway were trashy too. Not like my neighborhood but there were quite a few that loooked really bad and I realized no matter where you live-people are going to live like pigs.
I go through these rampages with my neighborhood-I have a love/hate relationship with it.
I like my happy back yard.
I have to change my perspective about the other back yards. Look at their back yards and be glad I don't live like that.
I'm not giving up my dogs. I'm going to start working an extra house a day and I'm going to save all that extra money to go towards buying a house. In about 2 year's time-I should have enough saved up for a nice down payment on a nice home. I've already started saving and I have a nice little nest egg but this will really kick it into high gear so that instead of having a down payment for a $100,000. home, I can have a down payment for a $200,000. home. I should then be able to get a home in a halfway descent neighborhood. Maybe even the suburbs. grumble

If I didn't have my T I would have moved more than I already have! He finally is allowed to get through to me about where I live now (as he had to visit last year.) I really do get frustrated at times with this place, but it really is a great little place to live grumble I hope you can find the goodness you've created. Yes, it's possible that you could spend lots of money to move and find the same problem where you go. TC!
