I'm just feeling a little bit lonely and depressed. I don't have a lot of friends. I am not close to my family. The holidays are so hard.

Hi Ayana,

Welcome to PC, I know it can be hard at this time of the year. You have all the friends you need here to get you through your tough time.

Also with advise from the experts here you will soon be able to get over your problems and soon start making friends out there.

Lets shed our final tear,
I wish you all Happy New Year...
Thanks for this!

yes, the holidays can be so hard.. especially when you're on your own- it all seems so unreal

is their something you can do that will distract yourself?

you could watch a movie or listen to some music

we are all here too for conversation
Thanks for this!

Sorry that you are feeling lonely, but remember you have many friends here that are willing to take with you.

I know exactly how you feel. I don't have any friends and my family does not understand what I am going through, but I learned from people here that friends can come from anywhere.

I am new to PC in the hopes of better coping with depression. I read your post about feeling lonely and although I do not know "exactly" how you are feeling I think I can empathize to an extent. I'm no stranger to feeling lonely and depressed. Please know you will be in my thoughts. I am glad to shared your feelings. Take as good a care as possible.
