Hello there. I Posted in the new people forum. I've gotten the customary welcome to the site posts. which is nice. But I need support. It's been a very rough week. I am trying to maintain a functioning level. I am so sad and hurting. Supportive isnt what I'm getting from home and friends. Encouragement? Please?

Hi there! I read some of your other posts and was wondering if you thought of trying SAM-e. It's a vitamin, perfectly safe for a baby, if you conceive, and it really seemed to help my mood! Big hug and I hope you find the support you need here at PC. Welcome!

Thanks for this!

Haven't thought about anything except bad stuff. I talked to my doctor and she said that if I come home which is two hours away, I will be taken care of, but I can't. I have a job and cannot afford to lose it. I am going to make a few calls today and see what that does to help. Maybe someone will talk to me and I can just forget this rut. But who knows. Been in a bad place for quite a while now.

Hi Mmartin,

Here's my best general advice for depression

I think that trying "SNAP CLUB" is a good way to start.

Well. Made it 8 hours out of 12 on my shift. Work in a critical care unit. Want to go back to my home town. Want to be held. Want to be cared for. Want to rest and hope that if I wake up I can be happy again?

We are thankful in this house today. My needs have been met. My crisis fog is lifting. I feel human.
