I really am sorry that you can't share more with your friend. Sometimes people don't understand how bad things really are unless they are told. It sounds like she has been compassionate in the past. Please reconsider your decision to not share anymore at this time.

I hope you can share more... your poem hit home. I don't seem to have anyone who really understands and the one person who isn't asking. It is someone I supervise - trust me I never wanted to involve this person. i've tried to distance from the situation, but feel really left alone
