When I am depressed I hate spring fever. Everyone is out and all giddy and the lawn mowers are going......(not quite yet). Makes me feel horrible guilty. Hoping this spring I am not depressed. Been coming and going lately.

In the spirit of spring I thought I would post this pic I took a few years back that was a very good spring.

Caught in the act.

i have a mantra i use when i start getting all judgey with myself and comparing me to other "normal" people, making me feel bad. it is "this is normal for me". i have to realize i am not like "normal" people. because of my MI issues, i am never going to be like a "normal" person and i have to accept that for what it is. so when i am out of balance and doing things i dont really like, instead of getting down on my self, i use acceptance telling myself that this is normal for me. adding the fact that i know it is going to pass. history has proven that it doesnt last forever even though it seems like it. take care

I've been rather depressed since January, so I'm really hoping that with weather I'll get a boost in mood level.

By the way, I like the photo.

Best wishes, Gayle

I tend to get depressed in the springtime. It seems like it comes naturally for me. Especially in the last few years. Spring is the time that I had bad things happen to me. When it looks and feels like spring, then the air reminds me of those bad times. It feels like I'm reliving the past when it was not good.

For me it has always been a natural cycle and the first nice week of spring triggers it. In recent years my normal cycle had been whacked so it is unpredictable.

Good advice kali and I will follow it.

Your picture is beautiful.

I've been going through the same thing. It's gotten worse since my mom died 3 years ago. My T wants me to photograph trees as they bud out but I'm having trouble with my camera.
Thanks for this!
