I cant take it anymore
I am lower than I have ever been. Seen my CPN today (Community Psychiatric Nurse) and have had my meds upped. I can;t eat, I cant sleep, I cant work at the moment, I just cant do anything I cant take this anymore I went for a counselling assessment on monday and am now waiting to be refered to a counsellor. They said it would get better, everyone i have seen. "It'll get better when u have some time off work" "It'll get better when u start on ur tablets" "It'll get better when u start counselling" NO IT HASNT. I am still feeling like I was, if not worse. Sinking lower than I have ever been it has got to the point where I can take no more No more pain No more hurt No more anger No more hate No more hoping No more wishing No more praying No more surviving No more |

Well, one thing is true: increased medication takes time to get built up in your body. If meds were just increased today, you CAN hope for improvement soon. For some, it takes longer than others.

I can say that you are starting something at age seventeen that I didn't start until I was double that. You are going to be that much more ahead of the game.

It wasn't until I replied to your post, I remembered I'm waiting for increased med. dose to kick in, myself. My antidepressant was just increased 5 days ago and I'm hoping for a change.
I've been down for so long. . . . So you're 24. That's the age that my son is. I'll be hoping that you'll be better by the time I am (next week) ! |

Hope the nurse patches you up and gives you a little warmth and hope. I look hard for warmth and hope wherever I can find them when I'm that down. I've been known to be grateful to the hair stylist when she's washing my hair, enjoyed the head massage like it's been the only care I've had in ages.
Can you find a good book to read, something substantial but comforting? Ever read any Elizabeth Goudge, Rumer Godden, Miss Read?
