nothing changes
nothing will ever change
i dont want it to most days
what the hell wood i be then
ive been like this my whole life
i woodnt know who i wood be
im scared and so i dont want to face it
and im tryin to be strong
but im weakenin by the day
i will build up a resistance and then it will slowly fade away
and im back to where i began
the ultimate choice
the ultimate betrayal
im lost in my head
and for once we all say the same thing
so over it
im done

nothing changes Of course it does, and will again
nothing will ever change This is still your depression talking. Try to stop this thought, it isn't true.]
i dont want it to most days Yes, depression sucks us so far down it becomes what we know and are strangely comforted by it
what the hell wood i be then Be when?
ive been like this my whole life Depression tells us lies and makes it so we can't see the truth.
i woodnt know who i wood be Yes, the unknown can be scarey, but you are someone, and can be better in the future too!
im scared and so i dont want to face it this might be part of what's behind not wanting to NOT be depressed, that ppl will expect things from you that you don't feel able to do or be
and im tryin to be strong strength is good, and you are strong.
but im weakenin by the day continue to resist the dark, think on lovely things: nature, music whatever!
i will build up a resistance and then it will slowly fade away Yes, it is an ongoing effort.
and im back to where i began We are never totally back to where we were, but farther along the path where it looks like other parts of the path... but you are growing, and growing stronger...
the ultimate choiceYour ultimate choice is to continue to try, do your best
the ultimate betrayal To betray oneself and not give yourself the benefit of the doubt of a good future, that is the ultimate betrayal. You do not know what good stuff is ahead of you, and depression will not let you hope.
im lost in my headYes. Try to quit thinking and find a distraction away from this darkness.
and for once we all say the same thing Really?
so over itIt is a tiresome task at times, this self care im just so sick of this
im done Yes, done with the same ole same ole...things can be better, things will not always be this dark. Don't beat yourself up about how you feel, it won't always be so depressed feeling.

im just so sick of this
