Hi everyone,
Lately I've been feeling a lot worse than usual, so sad that i can feel my chest physically hurting and i dont know what to do. Im in a situation where my parents cant know about any of this and at the moment am really struggling because of a lack of support. Really looking to get to knkw people and help support others as well! |

It is really hard to manage without any support. I hope you find what you need here on PC. I hope things get better and that maybe you can tell your parents at some point and get their support.

Hello Isabella,
I can totally relate to your situation. I was in your shoes once. Feeling sad and depressed could truly cause physical pain. In my case, in arms and chest. I did not tell my parents about my depression till things got worse and started having severe symptoms like panic attacks. That's when they came to know. I don't have any support from family and I know how difficult it is. You need to know that the sooner you seek professional help the better. When I was younger, and undiagnosed, I didn't understand what was wrong with me. Why I felt such inner pain and cried for no reason all the time. I too hid it from my parents. It wasn't until my early 20's that I went into such a deep depression that my doctor recognized it and I finally got treatment. The sooner you can get professional help the sooner you can start to hopefully feel better, and get more support whoever that happens to be. I hope you don't wait too long.
