I am most likely going to be going to a residential treatment center and had a few questions. I know each place is different but maybe someone can still help me be more at ease haha

I've never done that, but I considered it. I wish you all the luck in the whole universe!
Thanks for this!

Went to a hospital and it was awesome Don't know the difference between the two but they are probably similar with a residential being more relaxed

You can't bring any sports related clothes because they say that might set off people who have gambling addictions. You also can't bring any revealing clothing or anything that shows a lot of skin because that might trigger somebody's sex addiction. And obviously you can't bring any clothing that is drug or alcohol related, like a Corona shirt.

My experience at a residential treatment center was a very worthwhile and successful one, I hope yours turns out that way as well. Best of luck

Plain t-shirts and pants with no string, jackets with no hoodies, and shoes with no shoelaces Girls-bras with no wire. In my hospital they allowed shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, hair brush, hair ties, stuffed animals and your own pillow. That's all I can remember from the top of my head.

I spend 9 months in a youth residential facility. You were allowed to bring anything you wished to - there were no limits on what you could bring.

Residential allowed me to pick up the pieces of my life and start on EMDR therapy. Regrettably it didn't do anything for the depression.

All I remember is playing Uno and eating lol. We all loved to mess around at bed time and bang on the walls and sing, haha. Group therapy is fun as well, especially when we got the therapist to tell us scary stories and we took turns telling some. We had a gym and a game room with an Xbox 360. Pet Therapy and art therapy. Really good food!!!!!
