my depression has definitely stopped by for another visit. I can feel it - it starts with pressure within my skull. A downward 'force" on my head..... ALWAYS tired.

I am simply exhausted. I do not know how much more fight I have in me. It is very clear to me that things will never get better.

Hi,

Did you know that you might have a purely medical or nutritional problem that might be making you feel terrible mentally? If you haven't done it already, the first thing I would always to is check for these things with an M.D.

Thanks vital....

they checked out EVERYTHING (or at least it felt like everything) after I confessed to a number of my suicide attempts. I guess I just have not found the right med(s) yet.

I have had an on and off headache for going on 13 days now and am just getting over a long spell of bipolar depression. I used to have migraines, so I went back to my neurologist and got put back on migraine preventive medication (Topamax). I agree you may want to get checked out by an MD. Good luck with it.

I also feel exhausted all the time when depressed. If they've been better before, they can be better again, you just have to hang in there through the tough times.

IDM,
Remember though we are saying "another" visit, it has been better.......better does exist, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow........but it can/has got better. And in time, with help/support maybe "better" can start lasting for longer, and longer, and longer.........
And now, in the fight, it it's back, just choose your "battles", hey?? e.g. if you're exhausted (which is completely understandable ), make time where you're not keeping trying to fight it........where you can "relax", where you can do less, where you can drop some of the expectations you or others have on yourself and make time where you can "let those feelings out"/express them. We're here for you as much as we can be in this, you're not having to do it alone
But hey (!!) you querying how much fight you've got???!!!! Come on!!! It's always been so clear that you've got so much more fight than you think. You are pretty amazing you know!!!
Although I do know it can be far from easy........so just try to lean on us for support when you need to hey??!! Again.....we're here for you

Depression is a pit, that, while we are in it, it does not appear we will get out. I have been there many times. What I say is not just words. I have lived through it. We care. AND.....You Do Matter! You are brave. You have reached out. In time, you will ride this out! It may sound trite, but be careful what you eat. I had to give up junk food, to keep my moods stable. Keep up the good fight. You do matter!
