What does it feel like when the medicine starts to actually work?
I'm on Wellbutrin, Prozac, and Doxepin.
I was just on Wellbutrin and Trazodone, but Wellbutrin gave me energy but didn't help the depression much and Trazodone didn't help with insomnia.
I started Doxepin and Prozac Wednesday. I know they say it takes 4-6 weeks, but I'm just curious. How does it feel when you know the medicine is actually working?

I am not sure how it would feel for you. Each person is unique. Each person is trying to cope with different meds and different backgrounds.

Other people report meds working when they start to feel stable and their symptoms diminish. Maybe your doctor could give you a better idea.

Sometimes I feel 'lighter' within myself, but never before 3-4 weeks have passed.

I just know if something is working when I find myself being more productive.
Or I guess I should say, "sort of a sense of even flow, rather than everything feeling laborious."

I think I remember long ago what normal felt like, so I sort of use that as my measurement but everyone is different in their experience.
