Hello all!
One of my favorite things to do is make fan videos for various shows/movies and post them to YouTube. It's a wonderful creative outlet, and when I get an idea for a video I'm majorly passionate about them. I've had my ups and downs with it. I've been editing since I was 15, and every now and then I get a ton of ideas and can roll them out like no tomorrow...and then I have periods where I simply can't do it. I don't have any ideas. When I do have ideas, I can't feel the projects like I did before, and don't care much for it. Sometimes I still care for the idea, but even then I can't make myself concentrate on it long enough to begin. Lately it's more of a problem than just becoming irritated with myself because I feel there's nothing to do. I join different groups and we collaborate on projects. And when I begin to feel this way, just switched off, I let down the other group members by never turning anything in. Of course it's not like we get paid for it, but I know how frustrating that can be and it makes me feel so guilty. Do any of you have tips on how to get the creativity back while "just not feeling it"? If even for a few hours? Thanks so much for your time! ![]() xMandyRose |

Sounds like burn out. When this happens to me I switch focus to something else for a bit (days even). You could give that a shot
