Bad side effects on almost every antidepressant they tried to give me so it wasn't worth trying to deal with it. Only time I actually forced myself to take something was after a trauma I went through because I couldn't sleep & I needed something strong to knock me out to stop the nightmares so I could sleep.

When I ended up living alone, I quit taking everything because I hated the groggy feel & didn't feel like I could care for my dogs & myself in the state the meds kept me in. Found out that the move & the change in my life was better than any meds anyway...but that was just my situation.

Before Antidepressants - I was worn-out
After Antidepressants - They have worn-out

Before antidepressants: moody, irritable, more anxious, volatile, sleeplessness, hopeless, despair, crying

After antidepressants: numb, less irritable, less anxious, always want to sleep, still hopeless, can't cry

i like the me after antidepressants better. i avoided them for years but now i don't feel i can function without.
