How do you know if somone is depressed, are there any signs

Thanks for the question! You seem like a caring person!

You find whoever is depressed very numb, always wanting to stay alone, mostly silent and in bed, and they will not be interested in things they used to enjoy, like their hobbies. Google the symptoms of depression, and see if any of them apply to someone dear to you.

Along with what has already been listed. Sometimes they cry a lot. Sleep a lot and have a loss in appetite and lose interest in taking care of themselves such as, skipping showers and brushing their teeth.
