wouldn't everyone love a week where we weren't worried about meds, how depressed we are, how to get over it, how to put one foot in front of the other, how to carry on a decent life, how to contribute to society, how to cope?????????????? xoxoxo pat

I wish it would all quit for a bit. It is such hard work and often like beating my head in to the wall. Poop on it all. I am taking a nap.

Yes.... me too.

You offering this, Pat? Awwww, so kind of you, I'll take one! LOL

I sometimes try to take breaks like I take with studying when I get sick of it; literally just drop it and sleep late, go to bed with a novel early, order pizza for dinner instead of cooking, go buy myself something "new" I've been thinking about for awhile, eat too much of something, usually, chocolate/candy, etc. I've been sweating my history final exam that's next Tuesday for a week now but just figured out even if I get a 70, which I think I can do easiy, I'll still have an "A" in the course so I'm cramming but not so religiously. What's the worse that can happen if you don't "worry" about being depressed for a couple days and just "assume" you'll take your meds when you're supposed to as usual (sometimes I pretend any meds I take are "magic"/life changing in some specific way or aphrodisiacs)? I love reframing :-) Don't forget "stressed" spelled backwards is "desserts"!

Perna.... Sometimes that is easier said than done. I just took a three hour nap... oh well... Somehow I kept telling myself that I was working something through. I could not stop thinking...even then.

OK.... yes... leaving the house and will hope to find a few hours away from myself... lol... but afraid I will be with me intermittently and back again tomorrow.

Where is the dimmer switch or the on/off switch? What a bother.

I would like to stop thinking about all this kind of stuff as well. I thought that finally going to group then having an appt with my pdoc would help that but it didn't. I have been thinking about how I am angry with my pdoc instead.

fayerody I like your quote!

I'm sorry to hear that your busy mind is driving you crazy. I hope you find an outlet. Are you taking photographs? Making jewelry? Would any of that help right now?

I hate laundry. I never do it -- even when I'm in the best of spirits -- until it needs to be done. Enjoy the game and jewelry making. I hope it helps.

I did start to make jewelry but I haven't for awhile. Maybe I should take it up again. I actually have calmed down quite a bit about my pdoc. I am still mad but not obsessing as much. I have one more group before I dont get to go or to see my pdoc individually for an indefinite period because I am starting a new job. The training will not permit me to do anything else during the day then I will have to see what shifts I get. I am looking forward to working a normal job again because I was starting to feel unemployable.

What kind of jewelry do you make fayerody?

I think we should all give ourselves the permission to take 30 minutes not to think about any sort of "condition" we may or may not have...
